Leeds Fashion Week VQ

New York, London, Milan , Paris , Leeds! What an amazing month September is with fashion spritzed all over the fashion capital cities. We even have our very own here in Leeds! Kicking off on the 18th (last night) in the beautiful Victoria Quarters and here I was helping backstage. With brand such as Aqua, Jigsaw,T.M Lewin, Oliver Sweeney, Pandora, L.K.Bennett, Reiss, Hawes&Curtis plus many many more and the fabulous make up by Illamasque!! Such an experience, and if you felt you missed out there's another in the Corn exchange Friday 20th using the boutiques clothing, and then one also following on the Saturday and Sunday 21st& 22nd live on Briggate using high street brands!!b

Back at the Studio!

So today I returned back to the studio after a longgg time off during the summer. What a way to come back with as well! The amazing shoot for Tokyo Laundry. Mainly a males photoshoot including tweed, sweatpants, boots, a range of different jeans and even onesies. Also with a girls shoot with a consistent type of clothing of loungewear and gilets for the colder months.

Photographed by one of our new photographers as we now have 4 new photographers in different areas from creative , location, cut out and studio photographers which all reflects amazing towards us and really shows off what The Point Studio is really about! 

I then thought I would buy myself some well deserved treats after all the hard work throughout the summer. Purchasing the Dr.Jart+ Waterfuse BB cream which I've heard nothing but amazing reviews about, and eventually the Real Techniques Samantha Chapman buffing brush which I've been psyched about getting for ages but never come across, so I can't wait to use two together! 

Decorating day

Everyone has a good old decorating shirt they just throw on, but in the fashion world throwing on an outfit can sometimes look its best. I have two of my favourite oversize vintage shirts here Savile Row and and a beautiful white embroided love heart shirt.  And what's best they go with every type of bottoms or even no bottoms if you want to go for the movie decorating look.

Jack wills Autumn 13

Today I got delivered the Jack Wills Autumn 13 look book and how beautifully British it is featuring the best of tweed, denim and everything burgundy and brown. Here's a little look I put together which I'm wearing today with a blue washed skinny jean and grey basics tee.

Clean Basket

When it comes to skincare and a lot of my products and the way i display them I can't get enough of white towels, liz Earle and pretty pastels. So the other day I purchased a Soho Living white towel and face cloth, cleansers and toners and decorated it with a new purchase of a pretty floral basket and flower. It's the best way to make skincare an enjoyment, as recently I've got more and more into it and find it so important. Desperately need to make a little trip to liz Earle as I've run out. 

American Apparel kinda day

Today I'm wearing my Teal American Apparel t shirt dress but wearing it as a vest with my blue washed skinnies and patent vintage loafers, gold accessories and gold rim sunglasses which to add more a accessorize to your outfit simply slide them fastened onto your top. Fitted and simple for an easy look which you will find works for many occasions.

Style with: leather jackets, tweed blazers,vintage flannels, vintage blazers or even oversize jumpers sitting on the top when it gets cold later on.

Fabulous Hot Off The High Street

Having a good Night time read of the fabulous magazine and couldn't help myself reeling off a load of my items in my head that I thought of as soon as I saw this Bra Top styled in 3 different ways. Falling in love with all trio pairs of shoes from Red or Dead and Topshop. Black block chunky sandals really are a must this summer , upcoming autumn and winter.
